The PediCODE consortium is actively pursuing research studies in CODE disorders. This includes studies on known disorders as well as trying to find the genetic causes of new CODE disorders.
CODE disorders are very rare and there is still much we do not know about the genetics, clinical manifestations or outcomes in patients with these disorders. One of the main goals of the consortium is to gather information and specimens from patients with CODE disorders and their families in order to understand how we can improve treatment. To do this we need the help of patients and families. If you are interested in helping with our research, please find the PediCODE center nearest to you and fill out the form below. One of our research coordinators will contact you to gather more information and discuss enrolling in our studies.
Our research teams, situated across four institutions, also collaborate on a number of laboratory-based research projects that investigate the underlying biology behind CODE disorders. If you are interested in finding out more about our lab-based research, please visit our Contact us page.
